I don’t want to sound like an alarmist, but I feel like time is running out for us to enjoy the beautiful beaches we have here in South Florida.  Our family plans to go as much as humanly possible, but we know we can’t be at the beach every day.  Besides, who knows how long we’ll have before our family no longer feels comfortable going?  So, I’ve been spending some time over the last few days trying to plan for a really fun summer, for the days we won’t be at the beach.  I always try to find FREE and local activities & events that are family friendly.  Here are 12 Sofia’s Ideas on FREE Summer Fun Resources:

1.  Local Library

2.  South Florida Parenting

3.  Whole Foods of Wellington (events calendar)

4.  Boys & Girls Club of Wellington

5.  Royal Palm Beach Recreation Center

6.  JCC of the Greater Palm Beaches

7.  West Palm Beach (events calendar)

8.  PB Pulse

9.  Palm Beach County Parks & Recreation

10.  Palm Beach County Parks & Recreation (events calendar)

11.  Barnes & Noble (events calendar)

12.  Williams & Sonoma (events calendar)

You don’t at all sound like an alarmist… That our government could allow a major corporation to plunder our ocean in such a fashion is beyond words…
Have fun whilst you can, This “thing” is only just beginning…
